With the internal N-Draft wireless, upgrading your router to the Trendnet TEW-631BRP. Also I am glad I was able to help you find a copy of Office 2003. It can be a bit hard to come by these days.

The HP 6820s downgraded to XP Pro is really very fast. I really think you should be very happy with it.

If you cannot find it, I am sure we can find a low-cost replacement, as there are probably quite a few people who have moved up to Quicken 2005, quicken 2006, quicken 2007, and even quicken 2008.

Memory Upgrade Germantown MD

Thanks for allowing Fernando to help you upgrade the memory on your computer.   It is hard for me to believe the memory requirements of Vista — but at least memory is really inexpensive right now, so throwing out your 2 x 512MB pieces of memory in favor of 2 x 1GB should not break the bank.

Palm and Blackberry sync problem – Files and Settings Transfer Wiz Problem Bethesda MD

It was good to see you again.  It had been awhile since you had any need for computer help.

I hate to be critical … but your system was a great example of the problem with doing an automated transfer of data from an old computer to a new computer.  It was shocking how much  your new system was cluttered up based on your earlier use of the Windows File and Settings transfer wizard.  It was like moving from one house to another, paying packers by the hour, and not being there while they pack.  Looking for the live copy of your outlook data files, and your palm database was like doing an archealogical dig, sorting through layers of copies, and other junk from your old computer.

I am glad that I was finally able to get your Palm Tungsten to Sync properly on Windows Vista, and that then using Outlook 2003, was able to get that same information into your new BlackBerry.

I hope you en joyed your Italian Pot Roast that evening.

Palm Sync Problem Rockville MD

Norma S. — Sorry we were not able to get your trio to sync properly. It is very difficult for us when you have another vendor in, and then expect us to pick up the pieces. If we had done the operating system re-install, then we would have your Palm syncing right now. We have helped many customers set up Palm Trio devices, and yours if the first one we have had any problems with. I am happy that you think of us when things get too hard for your day-to-day IT company, but really they messed this one up, and you need to go back to them for an explanation as to why you cannot sync.

Your network is a bit challenging since now you have such a wide variety of operating systems. You are one of our few customers who have OSX, Vista, and Windows XP, all on the same network.

The addition of the network printer, and moving away from Windows printer sharing, should make your whole setup much more stable. I am glad to see that Fernando was up to the job.

It was good to see you Mike A, of Gaithersburg, MD. Sorry about the problem with your Dell Notebook. I am glad I was able to copy most of your data to your 2nd computer. Lucky you still had it under waurantee with Dell. I recommend to all of your customers that they be sure to have some basic hardware coverage on notebook computers.

Anyhow – I am glad that I was able to grease the skids, and that Dell stepped up to the plate with the replacement motherboard.
